Greg Cianfarani, President and Chief Executive Officer

As president and CEO of RXinsider, Greg is responsible for the growth of RXinsider. In that capacity, Greg oversees strategic planning, marketing, operations, product development and business development for the RXinsider showcase of services. Greg’s expertise in pharmacy marketing, combined with this technology experience, has helped RXinsider evolve into a leading company that is reshaping online pharmacy recruitment, marketing and communications in the pharmacy world today.

Prior to starting RXinsider in 1998, Greg began his career as a pharmacist working for CVS in Rhode Island and carried many roles during his tenure. Greg received his B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Rhode Island.


Brian M. McEwen, Chief Operating Officer

Brian M. McEwen joined RXinsider in early 2008.  His experience spans the pharmaceutical industry over the previous 17 years in various sales, marketing, management and leadership positions with sanofi-aventis.

Brian graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1991 with a B.S. degree in Business Management.  He then moved to Boston, MA as a sales representative for Marion Laboratories.  Brian then moved into sales training and marketing roles in Kansas, MO with Marion Merrell Dow, accepting national responsibilities.  He then moved into various manager and director roles in the Northeast with sanofi-aventis.  Brian then accepted the position as Chief Operating Officer for RXinsider in 2008.


Jim Bernard, Chief Financial Officer

Jim Bernard, CPA and MST, is the Chief Financial Officer of RXInsider, LTD.  Jim has over 20 years experience between privately held emerging companies and public national & local CPA firms.  His areas of expertise include business development, financial planning & analysis, and tax planning.

Previously, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Liquid Blue, Inc., a large manufacturing company in Lincoln, Rhode Island.  He has both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Taxation from Bryant  College.  He was also the instructor in the course “Affiliated Corporations” in the MST program at Bryant.


Richard Soares, Chief Information Officer

A web-oriented software engineer by training, with 20 years of IT experience at companies such as Bank of America, Quick and Reilly, and Suretrade, Richard now spends his days working as the Chief Information Officer at RXinsider.

In 2000 while working at Bank of America, he started a web development and hosting company focusing on data management. Shortly thereafter Richard meet Gregory Cianfarani, CEO/Founder of RXinsider, and began a relationship that has continued to this day. What started out as improving a few simple web applications for Pharmacy, Nursing, and Healthcare out of his one room office has since grown to one of the busiest sites on the internet, helping pharmacist, nurses and healthcare professionals find jobs, employees, continue their education, and promote their businesses. Richard joined RXinsider full-time in 2006.

Richard continues to embrace his inner nerd though he no longer wears thick black glasses that are held together with tape, and he retired the plastic pocket protector some years ago.

Richard is involved in a variety of community efforts and is particularly interested in organizations that promote new and innovative web-based services.

Richard graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), New England Technical College and Hall Institute of Technology. Richard obtained two degrees in engineering before graduating from high school.
