Richard Soares, Chief Information Officer
A web-oriented software engineer by training, with 20 years of IT experience at companies such as Bank of America, Quick and Reilly, and Suretrade, Richard now spends his days working as the Chief Information Officer at RXinsider.
In 2000 while working at Bank of America, he started a web development and hosting company focusing on data management. Shortly thereafter Richard meet Gregory Cianfarani, CEO/Founder of RXinsider, and began a relationship that has continued to this day. What started out as improving a few simple web applications for Pharmacy, Nursing, and Healthcare out of his one room office has since grown to one of the busiest sites on the internet, helping pharmacist, nurses and healthcare professionals find jobs, employees, continue their education, and promote their businesses. Richard joined RXinsider full-time in 2006.
Richard continues to embrace his inner nerd though he no longer wears thick black glasses that are held together with tape, and he retired the plastic pocket protector some years ago.
Richard is involved in a variety of community efforts and is particularly interested in organizations that promote new and innovative web-based services.
Richard graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), New England Technical College and Hall Institute of Technology. Richard obtained two degrees in engineering before graduating from high school. |
